Occupy Cinema, an open collective, uses the moving image to aid and nourish the Occupy movement.

Our activities include, but are not limited to:

• Screenings at Zuccotti Park
• Using the moving image to temporarily occupy other spaces
• Simultaneous global screenings
• Inviting speakers and facilitating discussions
• Collecting video submissions for an accessible online platform and resource

Occupy Cinema is inclusive rather than exclusive and welcomes artists and their ideas and encourages a relationship among all as equals.
